Needless to speak more about Knossos and the Minoan civilization, which is one of the most ancient (civilizations) of all times. 

The food (one of the main reasons to visit the island), the culture, the hospitality,  the history, the sea, the mountains and the unlimited routes will never make you regret visiting Crete. The most underrated island of the Mediterranean Sea. Underrated, because only a few people know how to explore it.
